The Great and Weird Road Dragon Bike Contest
Entry: To enter the contest you will have to email a submission to RoadDragonContest@gmail.com But don’t do it yet!! Please read on.
Okay, to add to the fun, here’s where the grand prize starts. You’ll be seeing more pictures and details as the contest progresses.
One brand new set of SS/Fixie specific wheels
The prizes are real. You can ride them, sell them, cannibalize them for parts, or give them to your significant other. Your choice.
“How do I enter? And what do I have to do?”
It’s going to be fairly simple, but not necessarily easy. You will have to answer some questions based on this blog, on cycling in general, on Peachtree City, and on Fayette County. Then you will have to write some short (really) answers to several “essay” type questions.
One question will appear each weekday, somewhere, on this blog. (Don’t worry, they won’t be hidden, and will be clearly labeled.) When the last question is posted, you can complete your entry email and send it in. Feel free to attach pictures. In answering the contest questions, points will be given for accuracy, originality, and humor.
Qualification Requirements and Rules:
- Contestants must have a valid email address on my distribution list for the “Tuesday Tome.” You can get on the “Tome” distribution list by sending an email to The.road.dragon@gmail.com and requesting to be put on the list. I do not share this list. You may ask to be removed from the list at any time.

Contest Question #1) What is your name?
Contest Question #2) What is your “handle” on the South Side Cycling Club website?
This contest is more exciting than olympic curling!
ReplyDeleteBuckle your seat belt.
ReplyDeleteI am so excited, and so grateful that you are doing such a cool contest. Is there deadline to get submissions? From the looks of question three, I'll need at least the weekend to compile answers.
ReplyDeleteGlad you asked that, Dave. Keep reading. You won't have all the questions for a while yet, and I'm no where near announcing a deadline yet.
